Were you stressful ?

It has been more than 6 months I don't need an alarm to wake up early.

Dreams will kick in and wake me up every morning before dawn. Before taking up this job, it was an act to prove myself able to do what others can't. No one else dare to take the job. For those who took it, none stay.

It started with tons of challenges. It started with all things kept in place. For every potential future outcome, 3 possible solutions were prepared for it.

Soon things get bigger than me. There are governments, there are Families and there are legal abusers . . .

All these are pushing me over the edge YES. But as time goes. I did capitalize the situation. I let my nightmares run wild. Quite a handful of times, I obtained solutions within those nightmares. And then on the 2nd morning, one more god damn issue is solved.

Just as I get used to all these work stress and able to get a tiny grip. Last night . . .

What woke me up is a death of a close relative. Suddenly none of previous nightmares matter anymore.

Are you stressful in life ?

I guess I will never find out how much I will push myself until I will stop.

stranger or lovest ?

One day, 3 men walked by Zandy; Mr.A, Benjamin and Carlos.

Mr.A just walked pass.

Benjamin stopped and asked if Zandy mind to share a table with him. There were many empty tables around them. Zandy never had such a clear clue before and she liked him too so she let him joined her.

Carlos sat down quietly at the next table. Right before Zandy and Benjamin left, Carlos walked up to Zandy asking for her number. Carlos gave Zandy his name card too.

Zandy had a great night with Benjamin. The next day, they kissed each other good bye passionately. 6 hours later, Carlos called and asked if they could meet tonight. Zandy replied, "Sorry, actually I am just visiting. I am in the airport leaving Paris now." "Where do you go back to ?" Carlos didn't give up. Out of the blue Zandy told the truth, "Malaysia". Half a globe away.

2 months later, out of the blue Carlos called, "Hey, I just arrive in Kuala Lumpur ...". They went around islands, cruise to Alaska, ski in Korea ... 3 years later they got married. Their 4 kids are all grow up now that 15 years have passed. Suddenly when the kids left home, Zandy doesn't feel connected to Carlos anymore. She tried very hard but she couldn't name one most memorable moment with Carlos.

One day, Zandy ran into Albert. Albert said, "Do you remember me ? I was one of the 3 men who walked passed you when you were drinking coffee in Paris about 20 years ago ...", he continues "I noticed you immediately at my first sight but unfortunately I had to rush to hospital at that time." Zandy tried very hard but she couldn't recall the stuff he said to her at all.

Then Zandy met Benjamin right at the next corner. They stare at each other trying to recall who they were. Before they even speak, so much memories flood Zandy's mind that she feels again. They hit it right off talking about the past, what they have been up to and if they should be together again, for good this time.

Albert is a stranger to Zandy because Zandy couldn't remember anything about him. Zandy also can't name one single most memorable experience with Carlos. When she talked about Alaska, Carlos couldn't remember some details. When Carlos talked about the ski, Zandy disagrees some part of the stories. Zandy's moment is when Carlos flew all the way to Malaysia for her but Carlos's moment is when he saw her in Paris. But with Benjamin, its easy. Its ONE night and its THE night. She remembers it and He remembers it.

The fact is that Carlos and Zandy have been together for so long. Each and every of their stories is the best one. When she is trying to pick one out of them, she couldn't because when all are the best then they are all the same.

Zandy knows she should stay with Carlos but she couldn't ignore the feeling she has with Benjamin. Can the fact that she couldn't name one best moment with Carlos imply Carlos is NOT her true love ? Or does that mean the love between her and Carlos have risen to another maturity level beyond feeling ?

Is Carlos a stranger now or is Carlos her True love ?

Fasting or Feasting month ?

Bulan Puasa or Fasting month is once a year event where we remember the unfortunates by not consuming any food nor drinks when the sun is up. By doing so, we 'feel' a little bit of the hunger some may have to face 365 days a year.

It is a holy month where our mind and soul is cleansed as well.

In real world, this is also the month the believers are broken into 2. One group became saints and do more good than usual. They stop throwing rubbish on the floor, start obeying all the traffic rules etc. The other group starts to hide all the wrong doing. Think of all kind of excuses to allow them NOT to fast. Disappear during day time and come out party whole night long etc.

But increasingly what is even more interesting is ... Fasting Month has become Break-Fast Month. Nowadays, there isn't much things left for spiritual meanings ... Fasting Month is now a Happy month because there are a lot of great offers on food and drinks ! The purpose of fasting is to break fast !

The unfortunates may still be thought off, the soul may still be holy during the short moments during praying. But it became so routine that the true meaning of Fasting Month has faded away. Now we celebrate one whole month of great food during night time and then followed by Ramadan - a day and night feast.

Happy Feasting Month ! Just a few more days to go ...

Color Blind Drivers

Hi, my name is Marron.  I am color blind since I was born.

This is the normal traffic light most of you would see

when I look at exactly the same traffic light, this is what I see instead.

So do you think I will stop or drive through when you see the light is RED ?

Ok, let me start the story from the beginning then.  I started learning to speak when I was about 1 year old.  My mom always pointed to my truck and teached me, "RED truck!".  When I said ".... truck ...." at 3 years old then she would repeat a few more times of the words "RED" just to make sure I got the color right.  I still have the picture of my RED truck, see below.

I also have another toy, the GREEN car !  My dad always taught me to get the color right too, "GREEN" car !  See !  Its almost purely GREEN except the steering and wheels.

When I approached my 10s, mom bough me a RED shirt.  I love it and I still keep it for my kids today !

Then before I went to my prom night, my mom bought me a GREEN dress.  It stunned the whole dance floor that night.

So when I see this,

I actually think like this ...
and when I see this, my brain tells me this ...

So it doesn't really matter what I see actually.  Ahtough when I see a green item, I will say "This is Red".  You look at it and it is Red to you too.  So when I said, "pass me the red sauce", you would most probably pass me the right bottle.
