Lost Season 5 Episode 6 - Pendulum

Finally they managed to make it back to the Island, or did they ?

The way they appear, the jungle, the water fall, tha lake all seems .... different.  It doesn't look like the Island.  But right before the episode ends, Jin appeared.  On the brand new van and Dharma Initiative shirt on.

Alright ... may be they are back on the Island.  But what time it was ? is ?

This episode is an interesting break from previous ones.  There are no time travel.  Its about faith again, leap of faith.  It also give answers about there are a few Points on earth that has special electromagnetic properties and the Island is one of these Points.  It also shows a technique using a Pendulum to calculate the coordinates and when the Window is open for entrance into the Island.

The top end of the pendulum where the hanging point is ... cann't be seen.  Its just darkness there.  Not quite sure if this means anything in future.

I am just obsessed with it ! OMG !  How I wish this is not just fiction and I wonder what will I see or what part I play if this really happen.

the video itself is kind of cool ....

Food on Star Cruise

Food is the MAJOR activity when cruising on a ship, or at least on Star Cruise ... there are 7 meals a day.  So if you take time enjoying each snack and meal time, it would easily takes up half of your cruising time.

This is the first restorant I went to immediately after boarding the ship at noon time.  This is the table setup.

The same restaurant but this picture is taken at the 2nd or 3rd visit.

They used this card to allocate where your seats are and you take this card with you when entering the restaurant and looking for your table.  Someone will assist you ...

A nice pudding desert ...

Lasagne, very tasty tomato sauce around it.

This one is also nice, tender and yet soft ...

Mouth washing salad

appertizer

3 meat course meal, the hot dog is ok but the lamp can be better

mussel rice, this one is normal

simple elegant, the way I like it

no matter how full I was, always take one more bite when this is up ...

Fish I think, the fact that I don't remember should imply this is not a very good dish.

err .... another dish I don't remember

The bread is actually very tasty !  Perfect to go with butter !

This is the chinese restaurant on ship ...

Menu from the western restaurant

wine list menu cover

play with my dinning utensil, what do you see in this ?

Chinese meal, strongly NOT recommended.  Service was slow, food was plain and ... sorry, really cann't think of good aspect for them ...

Bigger Star Cruise

The last time I went on star cruise I thought I was getting on a big ship ... but soon before my ship start sailing, another BIGGER cruise ship dock right next to ours ...

our ship has A FEW of these white stuff, their ship has tons of them.  I think these are rescue floats etc.

They even have PRIVATE balcony !  See the old man reading newspaper there ?  If you look carefully, there is a lady soaking on the bath tub !!

their top deck has a huge activity area, seems like a group of people are dancing and playing there ...

Hello bigger ship, next time I will ride on you ya !

No I don't remember her name.

World Human Spirit Day 17 Feb - The LAST celebration day in human history

I agree with the prediction that human race will end one day, one way or another.  According to the latest fastest growing religion, Bahai.  It promises World Peace, either a war to reach there or through peaceful manner.  Either way, we will no longer be human, we would either be extinct or become angels.

While moving toward the end of human race, I predicted that we will be having less and less holidays.  Meaning there are less special days to celebrate about.  Either because every day become a great day for all of us or we are in such a deep trouble that we wouldn't have the mood to celebrate any holidays ...

Eventually I also predict that there will only be ONE day that human race agree to set as a holiday for the whole world.  And that will be World Human Spirit Day, falls on every 17th of February.  So please remember this day just in case the end of human race is within our lifetime.  Else please do our future a favor, make sure your legacy knows about this special day, as it will be the LAST holiday human race will celebrate.

On 17th February,
people all over the world
will come together
in mind and spirit
to celebrate
their connection with each other

with two minutes silence
at 3.00pm, USA, Eastern Time.

You can conver that time to your own location from this link or see if one of your location is listed below:

Car industry in 2008 Recession

Sales of new cars in the UK have slumped to a 12-year-low and production of cars at Honda in Swindon has been halted for a unprecedented four-month period because of the collapse in global sales and represents the longest continuous halt in production at any UK car plant. The announcement comes on a day when the EU's Industry Commissioner Guenter Verheugen warned the outlook for the European car industry was 'brutal' and predicted not all European manufacturers would survive the crisis.
